Assassin’s Creed: Revelations Gameplay Sneak Peek [Video/Gallery]
OK, so there was no Ezio in this morning’s pop culture Corgis post, but we’re thinking this may redeem the artist’s oversight a bit: new video of gameplay and a pageful of screenshots should sate you until Assassin’s Creed: Revelations drops on Nov 15.
What sequel would be worth it without new stuff? As reported by Chris Burns, Ezio now has mad bomb-building skills:
Ezio must find shells, gunpowder, and all manner of ingredients to to create bombs that have an array of different characteristics. You must also find crafting tables, these tablet strewn throughout the game of course, to craft bombs of many delights. At one point during the demo you even get to see Ezio’s ability to essentially plug a bomb into a dead body, lure in several enemies with the body and blow them to kingdom come as they get near enough to the scene. Brutal!Word.

Assassins Creed: Embers trailer is out of time
ViDEO is http://www.viddler.com/explore/Joystiq/videos/6334/
The trailer for Assassin's Creed: Embers above sees returning protagonist Ezio pontificating on how he's run out of time to conduct his fatherly affairs. We're not sure why he's complaining, though -- he's got until the film (and Revelations!) drops on November 15 to do what needs done.

E3 2011: Ottoman; Assassin's Creed Revelations Gameplay Demo
Straight from Ubisoft's E3 2011 press conference, catch your first glimpse of old Ezio doin' his thing in the premiere gameplay footage of Assassin's Creed Revelations.
6 studios working on Assassin’s Creed Revelations
The development of the fourth game in the Assassin’s Creed series has been confirmed, and it has quite the army supporting it.
Titled Assassin’s Creed Revelations, the 2011 game is once again led by Ubisoft Montreal, but with five additional Ubisoft studios assisting: Annecy, Massive Entertainment, Quebec, Singapore and Bucharest. Massive is the new addition, the rest were involved in Brotherhood as well.
The entire series has sold more than 28 million units worldwide to date, today’s announcement also says; plenty of reasons for another one then.

Assassin’s Creed Revelations is seen as the final chapter in protagonist Ezio trilogy and will gallop players to Constantinople, the heart of the Ottoman Empire, where those pesky Templars are up to no good again.
The multiplayer component introduced in last year’s game will return, “refined and expanded,” with added maps, modes and characters up for grabs.
In addition, according to Ubi Montreal’s creative director Alexandre Amancio, players can expect “lots of new features and some significant surprises.” But those are being held back for now.
The game will be out in November for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Should history repeat itself though, expect the PC version to slip into 2012.
More information will be included in the June issue of Game Informer, and of course at E3 next month. For now though, check a larger version of the first screenshot above in the gallery here.
