Mortal Kombat: Legacy’s third episode is here… and censored

Remember last week’s awesome episode of Mortal Kombat: Legacy where Michael Jai White threw that punch? You wouldn’t believe it was the same show after watching this week’s episode.
This time around we catch up with Johnny Cage, a washed up martial arts actor struggling to catch a break in his career. There’s some cool fight scenes, but every curse word is suddenly censored out, completely ruining some of the more dramatic lines in the episode. It’s definitely toned down after the first few episodes which is a real shame. However an uncensored version is coming later in the week. Couldn’t we have got that one first?
Here’s hoping things pick up next week.

Mortal Kombat: Legacy’s first episode racks up five million views, second now up

Last week’s debut of the awesome Mortal Kombat: Legacy web series has gone down well; a total of five million views have been racked up since the episode went online. YouTube users are obviously hungry for blood.
Time for the second episode then (below), following on the story of Jax, Sonya Blade, and their struggle with Kano. Translation: More butt-kicking and cheesy dialogue for all! And boy, can Michael Jai White (Jax) kick a butt. Brainless, but oh so fun.
As for the game? Well, that’s out this week.

The Kombat Tournament You Watch But Don't Play Starts Next Week

Good news for people who like to spell words that have a hard 'c' in them with a 'k'! That awesome Mortal Kombat webseries I told you about -- the one based on that awesome Mortal Kombat teaser trailer starring Michael Jai White and Jeri Ryan (above) -- will premiere next week on Tuesday, April 12th, on Machinema.com. It's one full week before the MK game ships, so you won't have to cut into any gaming time to watch it. There's no word on what time it will premiere, but obviously, I'll put it on TR the minute it's available. (Via Nerd Bastards)
