That Wii price drop might still come true come
next month, but retailers
are already starting to sell the system at a reduced price.
It’s not the full $50 slash that was rumored, but GameStop, Best Buy, Toys R Us and Target are now all selling the system for $170. That’s a saving of $30; not the most dramatic but a little bonus all the same. Holding off until May 15 may be the best choice for now though as the system is expected to drop all the way down to $150 by then.
And of course, now we’re pretty sure that Nintendo are cutting the price to make way for
something else.
