As reported, Alienware – known best for their high-end gaming rigs – might be heading into the tablets market eventually. If you believe the hype, those are the things to have at the moment, not some “laptop” which, coincidentally, the company offers as well.
“We’re looking at all form factors and how we can provide value to gamers using all of the different factors,” said the company’s product group senior VP Frank Azor. “The answer isn’t no, but it isn’t also yes yet.”
So the company is neither confirming nor denying it, but considering all the hot fuzz surrounding the medium, it would be a natural step to take for Alienware given that mobile devices (smartphones and tablets), specifically those powered by iOS and Android, are slowly but steadily gaining traction down the road of portable gaming.
