Great news for fans of that awesome Mortal Kombat short; Jeri Ryan and Michael Jai White will be reprising their roles for the upcoming digital series. Ryan and White portrayed Sonya Blade and Jax respectively. Martial arts actor Darren Shahlavi has also joined the cast as Kano. You may have spotted Shahlavi in 300 amongst all the other six-packed armed, angry warriors. He’s also worked on action epics like IP Man, so he’s sure to fit in here.
No word on if Ian Anthony Dale will come back as Scorpion (fingers crossed) but we’re still excited to see this series debut later in the year.
