When speaking of smartphones, one reasons out the large size with heavy-duty functionality. But HP’s newly unveiled Veer which packs in powerful capabilities in petit attire. Driven by WebOS, just like TouchPad, this is belongs to the league of Android-less smartphones. The list of impressive specs include a 2.6-inch 320 x 400 display, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7230 processor at 800MHz, 5 megapixel EDoF camera, HSPA+ support, 8GB of storage, an accelerometer, mobile hotspot support and others. HP calls this one a can-do-anything smartphone but in a smarter size. It will be available sometime around spring this year. Nothing has been said about the phone's carrier or pricing.
