Sometimes, it’s not about the money. Sometimes, you just can’t keep a good game down. This may be one of those sometimes. Despite lacking the strong sales needed to justify a sequel, Namco Bandai may yet turn Ninja Theory’s Enslaved into a franchise.
In a recent interview, marketing director Lee Kirton explained the company was open to the notion: “It didn’t perform as well as we hoped it would, but we’re very proud of how it was received by both the media and the gamers who have experienced it.” Kirton further stated that, while he could make no official announcement of a sequel, it remains a viable possibility for the future.
