Crysis 2 PC: Multiplayer Demo and DirectX 11 Support Announced

That's right, PC gamers will also have a chance to get a taste of Crysis 2's multiplayer action before March 22nd, the date Crysis 2 will be in the shops. Crytek did not state a release date in the announcement on their Crysis portal MyCrysis.


In other PC-related Crysis 2 news, graphics card giant NVIDIA has quietly revealed that Crysis 2 will feature DirectX 11 support. The information was revealed on GeForce GTX 560 Ti's product page. This certainly does not come as a big surprise for the Crytek fans out there since Crytek have always utilized the latest techonology in their games, if not right out-of-the-box then via a patch later on. No details on how Crysis 2 will take advantage of DirectX 11 were shared at this time.
